I made this fan mount for my RepRapPro Huxley. It holds a PC fan at 45 degrees (to point towards the hot end better). The stl is set up for a 60mm PC fan but can be changed in the solidworks part file. Thanks to Richgain for the idea - I just customised all the dimensions for my much larger PC graphics card fan I had.

I was rather enthusiastic when building my Huxley and accidentally snapped the laser cut extruder drive holder during assembly. Here is is recreated in an STl suitable for printing. I've also now used a captive nut for mounting the M6 extruder block.

I am implementing [RepRapPro Huxley Duo](https://reprappro.com/documentation/huxley-duo/) features to my RepRapPro Huxley based printer. I don't like print cooling fan mount because fan fixing way. Printed pins replaced to nuts and bolts. This is 'dirty hack' :) OpenSCAD was used to modify original .stl Link to original part provided in .scad file. Idea of this part inspired by [Ducted fan for RepRapPro Huxley by Alzibiff](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:160549), but nuts slots rotated to 90...

I had a problem with the push fit type bearing holders in the stock Reprappro Huxley breaking every time (3 times) I tried to insert them. In truth the problem most likley lies in one of the following things 1) me being clumsy 2) not properly deburing the inside face 3) More than likely my slicing settings where no correct ( I have since found setting a fixed extrusion width ratio in Slic3r to have improved its output no end) But for all you other clumsy fellows I went down the route of...

Photo is of first iteration which the clip was not quite strong enough on top and required a bit of glue, it was also a bit to close to the frame. The STL model is version 2 (I haven't printed this version yet) that should fix these issues. This is basically the original i3 mount with the Huxley Y carriage idler mount joined in the front. Does the job.

The back plate is the unchanged from the Remix Source and can be downloaded from there. The front part has additional section to fit a BLTouch and a zip tie to for cable management. This gives me a probe off set of X -32, Y 15 This second version added 2mm on X offset so a wrap part fans can fit.

Hi there again! Still building my Huxley with nema17 motors, so here is a mount for the X-axis. The mount fits to the original motor mount again with a little drilling and cutting. Cut the end piece open from the original mount so the pulley will fit freely. And widen the holes for M4 bolts on the original mount. The pictures will tell more I added version 2 of the mount, it has better socket for the third bolt. You might have to move the holes on the original mount with this one.

Based on Wade's extruder, with the X carriage mounting holes removed since this will be mounted on the Huxley frame instead. Also includes some other changes to take the bowden tube (3mm OD) and work with a 1.75mm diameter filament, driven by an M4 toothed brass insert. The gears are 9 and 53 tooth gears respectively, giving a ratio of nearly 5.9:1. I might try using a NEMA14 instead in future since the force required to push 1.75mm filament through the nozzle is a lot less than 3mm filament....

This is an addition to richgain's simple but effective Fan Mount. It allows you to use a second fan on the x-motor side. I found having only a fan blowing from one side of the bed not enough certain prints and wanted a second on blowing from the opposite direction. By attaching the fan to the x-motor it moves with the z-axis and will always point towards the newest layer. The design was made in Tinkercad and is available at https://tinkercad.com/things/1dSwoYOgJ0h
